Our journey began with a group of visionary parents in Hackney who sought to create better opportunities for their children with learning disabilities. Their determination and tireless efforts led to the establishment of Helping Hand UK as a registered charity in 1978. Since then, we have continuously evolved, expanding our services and reaching out to individuals and families in need.
Our core values revolve around compassion, empowerment, and community. We believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and understanding. Our aim is to empower individuals with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives by offering a wide range of services tailored to their unique needs.

Our Day Programs at the Helping Hand Day Centre offer engaging activities, outings, and community integration projects, promoting social interaction, skill development, and a sense of belonging.
